I'm beginning to prefer Hugh more and more to be the next Bond, as long as he buffs up for the role as opposed to being skinny like in some films. To quote our governor..."girly man".

They could find replacements for those characters though if they were determined to do X-Men 3, and they didn't have everyone on the principal cast returning. Whether that would work or not I'm not sure, due to the fact that those are of course some prominent roles. When X2 came out the papers made a big deal about how the "older" stars Wolverine, Jean Gray, Storm, and Cyclops were all signed on for 2 movie deals and that the newer or younger cast members had been signed to do 3 movies. (Iceman and Rogue) and the new ones from X2 were also signed for X3. Nightcrawler, Colossus, etc. Famke would obviously have to be Pheonix now after the way X2 ended. Personally I think if they don't have Wolverine and Cyclops along with at least one of the women it will be pretty lame. Jr. X-Men doesn't really float my boat.

Indeed, X3 may not be all that cut and dried. Many of the actors in the cast

Since Storm is pretty much an afterthought in the movies anyway it won't matter all that much if Halle doesn't come back. There are so many characters that none of them get enough screen time in the movies except Wolverine and Rogue. For some reason their storylines worked out just right. I'd like to see a bit more of everyone else in action. Especially Famke.
