Well....

I've got a few hours before my plane leaves, that gives me enough time to give you a report of last night and hopefully for a small visit to Zencat's vault.

Ooh... I' m sad, though. Don't want to leave just yet.

The boys have been great. I can't thank them enough for everything they did for me. It' s been a blast, boys. Thanks. No... really. Thanks.

*gives both 003 and 004 a big hug and a little kiss*

So.... last night then.

It all began with 003 taking me for a little drive down the coast. He drove the Jag up to Malibu and gave me one hell of a view. Nice hills, nice beach, nice ocean. Nice weather too.

We then got the Jag washed so that it would be shining for our formal night. Of course, we too had to be shining, so we got back to Casa Bryce in dressed in our tuxedos. 004 joined us - already in his tux so no cufflink manoeuvres were needed - and we went out on the town!

With the James Bond theme blasting out of the speakers, 003 drove the Jag up to North Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills. A nice restaurant called McCormick and Schmicks had been our choice. We got seated, had the waiter bring us some drinks - a "shaken not stirred" martini for 003 and an 18-year old MacCallan for 004 of course - and made our choice from the menu.

003: Lobster bisque and steak
004: Lobster bisque and a different steak (I forget which one)
009: Chicken & rice soup and chicken breast

The meal was very enjoyable. We said our goodbyes to the staff and went back to the Jag after having taken a short walk up Rodeo Drive.

Our next stop was the Peninsula Hotel. A black Aston Martin was parked when we arrived there. 003 tried to convince 004 to take it and drive off, but I managed to keep the boys in check. We decided on some coffee in the bar.

That's when it happened.

Out of nowhere.

Unexpected.

003 glanced at the card and noticed that there was a certain brand of scotch on it that he had never had before. 004 concurred - the brand was unknown to him too. The boys looked at each other. No words were needed. 003 ordered a Loch Dhu for the both of them.

When the lovely lady who had been serving us brought it, the boys' mouths dropped open. It was a bloodred colour. Their mouths dropped even more when they tasted the stuff. To give you an impression:

003: ...this is unlike nothing I've ever tasted before...
004: ...wow...
003: ...amazing...
004: ...what is that, raisin?...
003: ...peach?...
004: ...initially it tastes like wine...
003: ...goes down very smoothly...
004: ... it's no wine though...
003: ... what is it?...

I think they'll make up their minds after they buy themselves a bottle.

Anyway, we got ourselves in the Jag again and rolled back to Casa Bryce.

I'll leave it to the boys to tell you what happened next... all I can say is... we went a little crazy...

Just returned from dropping off 004 at his own Casa and before that....

We saw her through right up until the security checkpoint....

Not to worry, it was decided last night that there would be yet another adventure for 004, 009 and 003 next year.

The location has been chosen....Heh-heh-heh.

The "when" is a matter of schedules.

Make no mistake, these Double-O's are destined to travel the world and save it at the same time.

As we made a small toast last night before heading off to dinner, the vows were taken:

009: For CBn boys...

003/004: For CBn Joyce

009: Then somebody better buy me a pint!

Thy will be done.

Yes we did actually. Wish you could have been there too (with ZenCat who had to work on one of his scripts), it's a place you'd never forget. We weren't completely naked. I was wearing my Guinness boxers and 004 was wrapped in the Union Jack toga style.
