This is more of a gimmick post, than a sensible one...enjoy.
Bond for the future...
Who would you have as hte cast for the future Bond movies, not the movies for the next 5-10 years, but after that...
Here's my thought of candidates for the position taking me 5 seconds to think of each some maybe changed! Also there maybe some future up and coming stars we don't know about i.e. me.

Bond -
(we all know) - Me

Bond girl(s) -
Mary-Kate &/or Ashley Olsen
Holly Valance
Ms Scally

M -
Pierce Brosnan

Q -
Timothy Dalton

Bond Villian(s) -
Vinnie Jones
Matt Damon

Henchman/woman -
Hayden Christiansen

Bond Ally (e.g. Felix) -
as yet unknown

Ok, maybe I didn't explain it very well, in other words, pick a cast of up and coming stars to play the roles in a Bond film in the next 10+ years. You've seen my pathetic list now have an attept to better it you wont find a better Bond than my one!

In about ten years, Christian Bale might be ready for Bond.
Or maybe Sean Biggerstaff (no, that's really his name!).

I'd cast the irritating Olsons as identical villainesses.

Connery will be about as old as dear old Desmond was by then, so maybe he could be Q.
When he said "Now pay attention 007", 007 damn well better!

And Brad Pitt could make a comeback after languishing in obscurity for a decade as Felix Leiter.

Matthew Lesko as the villain. Bond will grab him by his huge eyebrows and throw him around the room. I like the idea of the Olson twins as villainesses. Matthew Perry will be in it as Bond, and Courtney Cox Arquette will play the Bond girl. Matt LeBlanc will play a CIA agent working with Bond. Lisa Kudrow will play Moneypenny with an edge.

007: Clive Owen
M: Judi Dench
Q: John Cleese

I like that trio myself, Dench is a great M to me. Cleese also fits well as the new Q.

Alan Rickman could work as a villain, I guess. I like Patrick Stewert as a villain.

:) I like it!

Christian Bale would definitely be ready by 2012 ... I think Sean Biggerstaff should be 009 (cue inevitable jokes)

Olsons ... I would want them in a Bond unless they were sacrificial machine gun fodder in the pretitles ...

But ... Sean Connery as Q, that's inspired! Imagine the Goldfinger Q branch scene with Christian Bale and Sean Connery

Bale: "You're joking"
Connery: "I nevar joak about my work double oh-sheven"

Love it, love it, love it ...

I'll go along with that only if they use real bullets. They annoy me.

Let me reiterate my choice of Matthew Lesko for the villain. He's the annoying guy with big eyebrows on those commercials saying how you can get free money to do whatever you want in your life from the government.

Villains: Brooklyn and Romeo Beckham ...

Preferred methods of execution: either kicking their foes in the golden balls or boring them to death via excrutiating singing ...

'Catchphrase': "Errrr, errrr, errrr, like ... errr, Bond .... errrr, must .... errrr, die .... Is that right?"
