Yes Bond has been described by Michael Wilson as a veteran but thast means late thirties early forties.Ian Fleming's original concept was that 00 agents were mandatorily retired at age 45
so a 50 year old is not spot on...it is a mistake.

For 48 Brosnan looks fantastic, far better than connery in DAF. and connery was only 41. Brosnans got the mileage left in him.

I do love DAF though.

Connery was only 41?????? Sheez wow he looked so much older! I think Brosnan has heaps of mileage left - he doesn't look too old at all.
