The thought of the Wayans Brothers dressing up as two white female socialites to solve an FBI kidnapping case may well be the actual definition of bad, Qwerty.

Oh, I did hear of this film, I just didn't know that was the title.
I saw a trailer for it too also.

Folks, they ran the trailers for WHITE GIRLS and SOUL PLANE back when I went to see BARBERSHOP 2.Why bother making a thread of this movie when you think this movie's awful? This does not deserve to being here in CBn. Sorry, I'm just mad. I just saw the movie too and it made me sick.
Shoot, the minute I saw Marlon/White Girl chew on his/her toenail, I knew they wouldn't get my hard earned coin.

When you see trailers for tripe like this you gotta make like the Pistons and just PASS, PASS, PASS!

I agree wholeheartedly. I loved the Scary Movies, and I loved "In Living Color" even more. The Wayans (Damon and Keenan Ivory moreso than the others) are incredibly talented men. That's what makes this movie so frustrating. Not so much Marlon and Shawn, but Keenan (who directed this) is so much better than this. And he's proved this many times in the past.I like the Wayans Bros., I think Scary Movie and it's sequel are okay. The concept for "White Chicks" is a funny one, but it was just poorly executed. It could've been a lot funnier!

Keenan's best film to date is still I'M GONNA GIT YOU SUCKA.That's what makes this movie so frustrating. Not so much Marlon and Shawn, but Keenan (who directed this) is so much better than this. And he's proved this many times in the past.
The only caveat is that you need to watch or have been exposed to flick from the Blaxploitation Era in order to truly enjoy this film.
Oh, and he's still going to Hell for the "Handiman" skit he created on IN LIVING COLOR.

Talk about bad makeup! The films shouldn't have been greenlighted by the site of those two! The makeup was terrible. They look like albino apes! You saw this? Why? Can't everyone tell how bad it is by the trailer? Besides, the concept is racist and the makeup just scares me. I'd rather watch two white guys go undercover as black chicks....oh wait, they couldn't make that movie...

It didn't look half as bad in the trailer, as people seem to be making it out now. Can't everyone tell how bad it is by the trailer?

Well, "they" have made movies like that in the past. Since the birth of cinema, whites have played black characters(like caricatures) in blackface from the likes of BIRTH OF A NATION up until the 30s and 1940s.You saw this? Why? Can't everyone tell how bad it is by the trailer? Besides, the concept is racist and the makeup just scares me. I'd rather watch two white guys go undercover as black chicks....oh wait, they couldn't make that movie...
We can glance back to the mid-1980s when C. Thomas Howell took tanning pills to get a minority scholarship in SOUL MAN. How about Sascha Whats-his-name rockin' the beard, do and gear to get into the character of Ali G at the turn of this century.
The problem with this kind of filmmaking is that it's lazy and it panders. You could tell there's no wit or sophistication to the story.
Here's a review of WHITE CHICKS by film critic Armond White, who always manages to look past the surface of a film in order to make an informed critique.
