MISSION: 5

Story:

Agents, well done, your knowledge of our enemy, James Bond, is most impressive and caused some uncertainty even amongst your ranks. However, it is not enough to know ABOUT your enemy. We now require you to research all aspects of James Bond in order for you all to become like him. Bond's knowledge and skills have caused him great victories over this organization. Our agents must become familiar on all elements of the Bond-lifestyle. Knowledge is power. You will have plenty of time to complete this assignment, as SPECTRE communications will be off-line for a while. I trust you wil use the unsupervised gap to accomplish your mission and not become distracted with other tasks during the "outage".

Also, it is time to become even more selective in bringing you into SPECTRE.

Message Ends.

Mission:

1. A James Bond research scavenger hunt on the world-wide web.

2. Each agent is to search for as many websites that cover a topic of the James Bond lifestyle and post it here. You must post it so that the post links to the actual website. Posts with simply a URL posted and not linking will be ignored.

3. NO websites may be linked that are James Bond websites or about James Bond.

4. Agents may post as often as they wish, without having to wait for other agents to complete their posts. Special points will be awarded for originality, creativity and other undefined criteria as determined by the secret committee. :)

5. When posting your LINK, if the website is not an obvious element of Bond, please take a line or two to explain the tie-in. I will use an obvious one as an example, with explanation:

What would Bond's life be without a means of proper transportation:ASTON MARTIN

You see, it's easy.

6. The Execution Branch is expecting to be busy after this Mission. The agent with the most posts of valid links will be the only one to earn an assassination avoidance. Any agent who does not, by mission's end, make at least three posts, will be eliminated. The agent who may earn special points for originality and creativity will also earn an assassination avoidance.

7. Disputes: As I am expected to be offline, if there is a questionable post, simply PM me and all will be evaluated when the Mission completion debrief is sent. This mission will officially conclude on July 8, so posts will be accepted until I post the conclusion.

Over and out.

MISSION CONCLUDED:

The executive branch, having returning from their mission in the far east, will evaluate the results and post accordingly. For now, this mission is concluded.

Your efforts have given many of the CBN community much reading material.

Looking back at the rules for this one, wasn't there automatic liquidation if less than three posts were made? Is voting necessary, or is it to remove someone else on top of a player automatically extinguished?

Yes, players posting less than 3 will be removed. The voting is for a player who made at least 3. Time to thin out the herd. :-)
