Blue Eyes (03 Mar, 2002 06:03 a.m.):
Of all the lousy cuss titles...
Okay I've got that out of my system. Beyond The Sea? Honestly! Wasn't there an episode of The X-Files by the same name? Beyond The Sea sounds more like a paranormal film then a Bond title. Perhaps that's just inbred because of The X-Files.
Either way, that should never be a title of a Bond film.
yes to why wasn't my post submitted? i will scan and send a copy of the article to Dave Woodhouse (is that his name?) who wants to put it on the site.

Beneath the Sea?! I don't like it.
Isn't "Icebreaker" already the title of a Bond novel? Why not just use that? "Beneath the Sea" is total ****. So lame, I won't even see the film if it has that title. It would probably be another MGM disaster like "Rollerball."

Does The Mirror have a rep for pious journalism?

However he was injured in a water scene! What could this have been? What is the involvement of water in the film?

I'm not that keen on Beneath The Sea either, I much, much prefer Beyond The Ice. Someone kinda suggested once that if enough people complained about the title they'd change it, is that right?
