Athena!! Thank you SO much for posting this, I just saw it. I will definitely be there! I didn't see anything about this here, so I'm so glad you let us know. I now have 4th of July plans!!

Don't expect Flicka and I. I sent Matt an email. I've done Florida twice for a total of two weeks this year and promised the Ritz I'd be back for a third. Not this soon though.
Anytime you can see a cool print of Dr. No on the big screen is worth it.
007Travis - You're under orders to give Matt and Janine big hugs from Flicka and I.

I've seen all the other tourist things they have planned since I live here, but I'm interested in the 007 memorabilia event as well. Sounds fun!

Just back from seeing Dr. No on the big screen! It was great! It was in the beautiful Tampa theater downtown. It was built in 1926 and recently restored, it is an awesome theater. It was great to see it in a theater, the film was obviously old though, the colors were quite faded. I had a great time though. Thanks to Athena for pointing this out, or I wouldn't have known.

So glad you were able to make it! Wish I was doing something so exciting, but I'm not... *sigh* ...oh well. 
Totally glad someone from CBn was there and enjoyed themselves!

Was so much fun, thanks again! Also wanted to mention, as you walk up to the theater "Dr. No starring Sean Connery" was running on the marquee, and as you walked up to the box office you could hear the James Bond theme playing. It was done up very cool. I wish I would have taken my camera, but of course I forgot. There were quite a few people there.
They even serve alcohol there, my kind of theater!!
