Also left out the 'A' for A View To A Kill.

Picky? Perhaps.

Doesn't look like much effort into finding past details was put into it.

I guess the researcher for the blurb meant to say The Man With The Golden Gun but used A View To A Kill instead. It's certainly in keeping with all the other mistakes.

But Darren, it looks sooooo pirated. :)

I'm used to these sort of covers here.

Yes, surely a pirated version out of HK or Thailand.

You are probably right Brett, and I've seen plenty of Asian bootlegs in my time. :)

I also like the fact that they've slapped on "Also starring Cynthia Nixon" as though it would add to it's selling appeal or widen the audience or something.

It is obvious from the cover that they want to sell it off as a T&A Thriller.
Anyway who will know of Maud Adams, other than Bond fans? So they have to trumpet about Cynthia Nixon(whoever she is, Dick's wife?).

Indeed. Seems shoddy.

Well, I reckon Nixon is a lot more famous than Adams, thanks to "Sex and the City". As you say, who knows of Adams apart from us Bond fans?

I don't think this is a pirate job, merely a perfectly kosher DVD with sloppily-written back cover blurb. I'm sure such errors are quite common.

Yes Loomis. The first release of the special edition 007 DVDs even saw some blurb/cover errors on them (not sure if they were corrected for the re-release).

It is quite shocking just how bad and blatent the errors are on this DVD back cover.

I am not too sure the lady in the sunglasses is Maud. I think Maud is getting off the street car. The gentleman in the plaid shirt appears two other times in the chapter.. once when getting off the street car and again where Chuck Lee is "working" just before Bond comes into the scene. He is wearing a "Members Only" jacket (ah, the 80's). I am currently watching it on the free movies from Comcast. Unfortunately, the movie is shown full screen, not wide screen. As for the possibility of Maud getting off the street car, I am going on memory from my DVD.

BTW, in AVTAK, Stacy Sutton's house... would anyone know where it is located (the actual house used in the movie)? I think it was also used in "Escape from Witch Mountain".

Thank you.
