CBN SURVIVOR: Mission One

THE MISSION BRIEFING:
1. Each team must determine the location of a SPECTRE base, specifically KAOS-base A and THRUSH--base B.
2. Each team will post "intelligence gathering questions" that will be used to determine the location of the bases. However, questions may only be asked that can be answered with a "YES" or a "NO". Any other questions will be ignored.
3. Teamwork: Each player on each team may only post ONE question in each post AND may only post ONCE, until each of YOUR teammates have also posted. Any player who double-posts before the rest of their team posts will cause the remaining thread to be discarded.
4. Intelligence updates: Every 24 hours, the questions of KAOS and THRUSH will be evaluated and answered in this thread. This intelligence update will then enable you to refine your questions and eventually lead to your guessing the locations.
5. This is Survivor, not Mission Impossible. The SPECTRE base locations are contained within a famous landmark or location of a city, or country. You are not tasked with guess a street address or something like that. Some examples of answers are: Times Square in NY, under the Eifel Tower in Paris, etc.
6. Execution-avoidance: Survivor calls them exemptions, we call then execution avoidances. These are the qualifying actions that keep you from being eliminated. In this round, it will be the successful posting of "LOCATION GUESSES". Example: You ask if the base is in New York. When the intelligence is posted daily, all players whose question was answered with a "YES" receive an "execution-avoidance".
However, at the end of the Mission, only the players with the MOST avoidances will be truely safe from their teammates. Example: 5 players have each earned one avoidance, but two players on the same team earned two. Those two players are safe from execution for that mission. Only the other five are at risk of being "executed" and thereby removed from gameplay.
7. Assassinations: As if trying to survive executions within one's own team wasn't enough, the winning team will have the option of voting to assassinate one player from the losing team, regardless of how many avoidances they might have earned. Example: Although Joyce C. (Happy Birthday) might have earned 5 avoidances for her team, if her team loses, she could potentially be assassinated if the other team chooses her. As you can see, the body count has tremendous potential here (but who really wants a game that'll drag on, eh?)
8. Open warfare: if neither team completes the mission, then in addition to your own internal executions, each team may either a) assassinate a member of the opposing team, or allow the round to conclude without further bloodshed.
9. Assassinations/Executions: when declared, will be handled via PM; and once the results are posted, are final.
10. Whew. That was a lot of detail. So, take some time to review and good luck, agents.
11. Mission One Winner: The FIRST team to successfully post the location of their secret base within 96 hours is the winner.
With a tip of the hat to MattBowyer, Mission One has begun......

Agents, intelligence analysis follows:
Jim's question: G8: I am not sure what this stands for, therefore, Jim may ask 2 questions today.
Joyce's question: YES, the KAOS base is in Europe.
SpectreAssassin's question: NO, the KAOS base is not in Asia.
Qwery's question: NO, the KAOS base is not in N. America.
Max's Question: NO, the THRUSH base is not in Europe.
Freemo's question: YES, the THRUSH base is a location seen in a Roger Moore film.
JohnBoy's Question: NO, the KAOS base in not in the USA.
Astros' question: YES, the THRUSH base is on the planet Earth.
Americanbond's question: YES, the KAOS base is located north of the equator.
SnakeEyes: YES, the THRUSH base is in a country that speaks English, although it may not be the official language.
**Analysis ends**
ALL Agents may now ask another question, even those that have already posted. However, except for Jim, NO ONE may ask more than one until all their teammates have posted.

Presumably allowed to give background here to the G8 issue
G8 countries are:
Canada
France
Germany
Italy
Japan
Russia
United Kingdom
United States
Although you've allowed me to ask a second question, I'm taking that as not having to ask a second question; accordingly, I'll repeat the first. Is THRUSH base in a G8 country?

My next question:
Is the KAOS base situated in a Mediterranean country?
For clarity, the Mediterranean countries are: Spain, France, Monaco, Italy, Greece, Cyprus, Turkey, Albania, Serbia-Montenegro and Croatia. (also Morocco and such, but they don't belong to Europe, so they don't matter at this point).

MISSION ONE: COMPLETEIs Base B The Taj Mahal?
With plenty of time to spare, ASTROS has led THRUSH to a successful completion of Mission One. Yes, indeed, Base B was located at the Taj Mahal. Well played.
ALL AGENTS: Stand by for instructions from the Execution Branch.
Message ends.

In evaluating Mission One, the following players have earned an assassination exemption: Astros and Joyce Carrington (the woman is not to be touched, I repeat, the woman is not to be touched). Each agent asked TWO YES questions.
KAOS/THRUSH: All players: order an assassination of one of your teammates. please do this via PM.
THRUSH: You also have the option of ordering an assassination of ANY KAOS agent. However, to prevent rogue agents from acting outside the group, I must receive at least 2 PMS targeting the same person. So communicate amongst yourselves for a consensus.
The agent with the most votes will receive a visit from the execution branch. In the event of a tie, a special set of back-up plans will be invoked to dispose of someone.
If I do not receive any special instructions from THRUSH on the KAOS assassination, then I shall take it that you are waiving your right to do this and that will conclude mission one.
You have 24 hours to decide. . .

I don't suppose suicide is an option in this game? Mr Brosnan gave me this funny looking pill about 14 months ago...
