From CBn's Main Page...

***NEW***
Chicago's PRINTER'S ROW BOOK FAIR
Saturday, JUNE 5
10:00am - 12:00 noon
at the Twilight Tales Booth, # W-3 (Dearborn @ Polk)

It's about time! An event I am planning on attending, have made time off work, everything is set, and Raymond Benson will be there to sign my first edition of Zero Minus Ten!

Anyone else planning on attending?

Glad to see Raymond Benson out and about and still writing even though it not writing Bond novels.

But most importantly: did you see that photo? We have found our Bond girl for Bond 21: Athena herself. (She even has the name for it.)

It seems like Benson rarely if ever gets out of the Chicago/Illinois area for signings except for places like L.A. It would be nice if he would tour more widely sometime.

I too noticed that he often is signing in his home area, which is fine, but it'd be really cool to meet him someday, if even around New York. I'm sure the same can be said for others who'd want to meet him.

To my knowledge, last time Benson was in the East Coast was when his first book came out. I got to meet/geet/sign with him in 1997 at a NJ event.

Well, I went! And he was there! He was a very nice person, but he really didn't want to chat a whole lot about 007. They had 1 copy of the 1st edition HC of High Time To Kill for sale at his booth so I picked that up, which he signed, and he also signed a copy of Zero Minus Ten which I had brought along. Besides the Raymond Benson table, there really wasn't a whole lot of 007 books around. Some people had over-priced paperbacks of Gardner books in poor condition, and one fellow had a YOLT original poster for only $400.
