so hi, my name is elizabeth, but i go by liz. i'm 17.5 and i'll be turning 18 in november. i'm a senior graduating from high school this year. i've decided i'm going to teach american literature to juniors and british literature to seniors when i grow up, so naturally i'm going to be an english major.
oh, and i also have a disability. i have high-functioning asperger's syndrome (a form of autism), and i have cranial-facial nerve palsy, which means that i smile weird. but don't worry! i'm not crazy! i am mainstreamed in all 4 of my classes (5th period i'm a teacher's assisstant and 6th period i have off).
likes: i LOVE the beatles, i LOVE robert redford, i LOVE sam waterston, i LOVE the great gatsby...basically, if you give me anything old-fashioned, i'll like it. lol
dislikes: i HATE modern music. i can't believe it's even classified as music.
favorite bond: roger moore
favorite bond film: the man with the golden gun
favorite movie, period: help! (it's got the beatles in it!)
favorite song: i've just seen a face - the beatles
i hope my disability doesn't affect and/or change your opinion of me. i'm just like all of you, only a little different. i look forward to meeting you all and if you have any questions, by all means, please feel free to ask!

Not at all. Or at least, not negatively. I myself am afflicted by a very mild case of asperger's, or quite possibly another disorder, depending upon which psychologists you happen to ask.
At any rate hope you enjoy your time here. And re:Dan Qwerty should be along shortly to do his thing.

My name is Mr. Trevelyan. I have used this name also in MI6 Forums so some of you will recognize me. I am 15 years old and I live in Finland.
I have been a fan of Bond for just a year now but I do have seen all the films and I know a lot about the franchise so...
I registered in this forum today and I have been in MI6 Forums for 6 months. Although I have visited CB.net lot of times, I have never visited the forums but I do hope that I will visit here often now when I´m a registered user.
And here´s some basic information about my favourite Bond things:
Actor: Sean Connery
Film: Goldfinger (1964)
Director: Guy Hamilton
Girl: Honey Ryder (Ursula Andress)
Villain: Ernst Stavro Blofeld (Donald Pleasance)
Game: Goldeneye 007 (Nintendo 64, 1997)
Book: Casino Royale (1953)
I have nothing more to say, so I hope I could enjoy being here with you guys.
See ya !

I'm a regular over on the Six boards, but seeing as they're having a few issues I thought I'd have a poke around here.
I signed up a while back (at the last Mi6 blackout) and haven't posted since, really.
Nice site, and you folks seem friendly enough.
My interests are chiefly my wife, beautiful women, good food and drink, nice clothes, bad puns, smoking, film, design, 60's sports cars, architecture and World travel. I'm also a Bond fan, rather conveniently.
My hobbies include touching my wife's bum, snoring, wasting time on the internet, writing, occasionally giving up smoking and then starting again, and watching dirty movies whilst my wife's at work.
I enjoy long showers, talking loudly and interrupting my friends, sleeping, walks in the woods, and nursing hangovers.
I dislike cold flats, using semi-colons, and continuing to write this post.

I too am a transplant of MI6, but I only stumbled upon their website two days ago, and then I was led here under mysterious circumstances, so I figured, what the heck?
I unfortunately don't own all the films, but I have seen them all, and am currently going through a Bondaissance, and have only 5 more to go in a very recent viewing of all of them, in no particular order.
I'm a recent graduate of the M.F.A. Writing program at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, but had to move back to the rural(ish) midwest to live with my parents since I couldn't find a full-time job in The Windy City after graduation. So, yeah. Now I'm That Guy. I'll do a little Bond breakdown now (although most of this in my profile, I guess):
Fave Movie: On Her Majesty's Secret Service (while the others fluctuate in rating(s), this one always remains on top)
Fave Bond: Timothy Dalton
Fave Book: The only one I've read/am currently reading is Octopussy/The Living Daylights.
So there you go. And yes, it's odd that I chose a screename that's from a Moore film when he's neither my all-time favorite Bond nor is AVTAK my favorite film (although, it totally has it's moments!), but St. John Smythe is kind of an awesome name, and it's all I could come up with at the time. I've been watching Bond movies for 20 years, but I still don't know a lot of details re: the films and books, etc. So I'm anxious for discussion. Thanks!

A fiver? That's a bit steep isn't it?
Oh, don't worry, I charge a lot more to sell back the sex tape blackmail video.

Hi,
I'm Russell H - The Shark. You might know from the MI6 forums as "Largo's Shark", and since they’re currently down I’ve decided to give these forums a try.
I've had to avoid the CBn forums in the past, because the black and red display does nightmares for astigmatism - are their any other alternative skins?
I'm a 19 year old composer, musician, and bipolar bio-student from London, who’s also a long time Bond fan.
Great to see some familiar and new faces here, I’ll try to stick around.
Cheers,
The Shark

Yep...they don't make them like that anymore. They really don't, and it's a damn shame.

Hahdee. Perilagu Khan here. I'm now officially joining your ranks after a five-year, 10,000-post stint with MI6. Y'all don't be too hard now on a CNb rookie, ya' hear?
Khan, I am happy to see you here. Loyalty is an admirable quality, but I think you were increasingly out of place at MI6.

J. Page never struck me as the type to really care one way or the other about the posters on the site, even those who posted extensively, well and over a long period. This being the case I see no reason to extend my loyalty to "his" site, particularly when it crashes every six months.
