Has anyone else noticed the very Bondesque guitar riff on Morrissey's excellent new single, Irish Blood, English Heart.
Or am I reading too much into the second coming of the happy, cheerful one ...?

The name's Morrissey, just Morrissey.

No, but listening to his new album "You Are the Quarry", I got to feeling that Moz has a Bond song in him.... and I definitely never used to think that. "I Have Forgiven Jesus" puts me in mind of a Bond theme (the lyrics would have to be tweaked, natch), and "America Is Not the World" seems vaguely Bondian to me, too.Has anyone else noticed the very Bondesque guitar riff on Morrissey's excellent new single, Irish Blood, English Heart.
'course, I freely admit that I may be "reading too much in".

I wouldn't worry about it. As much as I'd love too see a Morrissey Bond song (and let's face it, he would suit perfectly the mood of any Casino Royale if it was made) I somehow can't see it.
It would be too much of a risk for EON and co.
Which is a shame.
