Check out the main page story, which includes all the cover art, HERE.

Damn, how cool is that artwork?
MUST BUY! MUST BUY! MUST BUY! Drooooooool....
Thanks, zencat.
Go to http://www.asahi-net...s/novelsif.html for some Japanese Fleming covers, some striking, some pretty uninteresting, and none in the Gardner league of excellence.

Yes, they are really cool. I'd like to get this set myself, if I can figure out how to navigate the Japanese Amazon site. Thanks for that link, Loomis. That's the same site I linked to in my story. Makes it a bit eaiser.

Did you end up getting those Japanese Bensons, zencat?
If you don't go the online route, I'm sure there must be some Japanese bookshops in Los Angeles whose staff would be happy to order these novels for you.

Japanese bookstores are a good idea there, Loomis. I do know of a couple downtown.

I definitely dig this cover art. However, I think having that style on all the covers would be annoying... I'm glad there are more options out there.

Hey, great find Zencat!
I rather like those distinctive covers, not crazy about the two novelization covers, but all the rest rock!

Those covers rule!
Most interesting since Fahey's Flemings. Damn these are good, especially scorpius and No deals.

Great covers. I like how, with the first four books, they've put in the background a memorable story element from each book -- especially the ice cream from For Special Services. This is huge part of this book, it's about time it was featured on a cover!
I also like the broken swastika on Icebreaker and the blimp on Role of Honour. To bad it looks like there are wrap around banners blocking the full art on those last three books. Would like to see those exposed.

I can't say that I like them too much. They are different though.
