The Sun has published photos of Bond 20 - One from Hawaii, one from Pinewood. And now look at Pierce and marvel!!!

WOW. DOESN'T HE LOOK RUDE?

And finally another pic, nearly the same as the one we had before from Hawaii!

You have to remember that Bond is undercover as Mr Van Beere, who is actually a villainous alias. Remember he's paying off Colonel Moon for illegal weapons.

He's certainly starting to show his age. Surely this is before makeup? Maybe it's him turning up for work early in the morning. It sure looks like it.

My mistake. The way the makeup is on his face, makes his cheek look like it has wrinkled skin flaps. It's what that sort of thing can do to a photo. the result being us, shooting our mouths off in all directions about how old he looks. Sorry, Pierce!

If it makes you feel better I don't think the cap is Bond's but rather Pierce's because he was wearing the same cap in photos taken of him in EuroDisney last month for his son Dylan's birthday. He probably picked it up in Ireland when he was filming Evelyn. Rest assured Bond won't be wearing it. Pierce might be able to pull it off but I don't think Bond could. ;-) Nothing more meaningful than probably a cold head between takes.

Hmmm, let's see if I can attach the Disney photo of the offending cap courtesy of Ebay.

I dont think he has a "turkey-neck". It looks like he is making some sort of facial expression and in doing so is stretching the muscles in his neck. I think you know what i'm getting at. I think this is a good look for Bond. He has a bit of grit and a hard-edge! But what is with the hat?? I guess Pierce can pull it off!

I agree with the above comment. Brosnan only appears worn and rugged for filming purposes. In the picture, he's apparently in a cold, militaristic and dusty environment. We can't expect him to be smooth and pristine.

Of greater interest is what exactly is he doing in this scene? Could this be one of the scenes in which he's captured by Colonel Moon? That Korean thug in the background looks like his duty could be to 'round up' prisoners and keep them under guard. Perhaps Bond is one of them. That beret on his head could be doing two things: 1) providing warmth obviously, and 2) concealing his longer hair, after months (years?) of imprisonment. And Pierce does seem to have come into some stubble there. He looks grimy and a little on edge, which could very well be due to the brutal treatment he's receiving from Moon's men inside the Korean base.

I think after looking at that pic of Pierce, its safe to say that any traces of Roger Moore are wiped from the series once and for all. I'm thinking more and more that Brosnan would have played LTK the same exact way Dalton did.

I don't think PB would have played LTK the same way. PB has far more personality & charisma compared to Dalton...LTK would have been more humorous from 007's POV. I loved Dalton when he first appeared but PB's arrival on the scene made me realise Dalton isn't really 007 material.

He looks like he needs a good wash. Or is that the make-up needed for the scene?

Are you sure that's Pierce and not his stand-in or stuntman? Maybe it's just a bad photo, but he looks awful... And it doesn't really look like Pierce to me.

Excuse me for just jumping in but I've been lurking for eons. I really enjoy this site. Hi!

If you look at the actor in the background he's also covered in grime. Brosnan's face and neck are streaked with it, it's evidently for the shoot. And I sincerely doubt he's severely aged or developed a turkey neck in the last week since his photograph was taken at the awards ceremony for Christopher Lee, or the press conference last month, or even since his last film Tailor Of Panama.

Just my two cents on an issue of grave importance. ;-)

Yeah, he's starting to look kinda old, but it's just the neck if you ask me. Otherwise he looks capable. Don't forget, Roger Moore was 50 when TSWLM came out in 1977 and he had that neck thing going too. He didn't start to really look bad till FYEO or Octopussy. Since Brosnan said he wants to possibly do one more after Bond 20 (I did get that part correct, right?), I don't think we have anything to worry about. It could be worse. Think about toupees...now picture DAF and Sean Connery. :) Yikes.
