And nice work on the images, Athena. You took me by surprise with some of these. The story icon is from a book cover I've never seen!

And I will also echo Zencat's praise of Athena's graphics work. The images from the serialized Playboy stories are among the strongest Bond artwork there is and it's great to share them with fans who may not have seen them.

I'm truly glad you enjoyed this article, and I think because I enjoyed writing it, that I think and hope it went off well.
Thanks Four Aces, hope they make good reading! Excellent time!

You do write well qwerty, although the very last parahgraph is a bit cluttered.
I wish most people could write as well as you. I find "enlish like dis to be annoying because there is no punctuation and sometimes words are spelt wrong and it just becaomse hard to read and usually it isnt worth it".

"The Living Daylights" was originally titled "Berlin Escape" and was written in 1962, the same year as "The Spy Who Loved Me" and, of course, the beginning of the film series.
"The Property of a Lady" was a story that took place before "The Man with the Golden Gun." Bond is questioned by secret service security upon his miraculous return from the Japan job. The name Maria Freudenstein, a known double-agent, is brought up and it is revealed that she's dead.
The pictures were a nice touch.
