I think you might take it back in a second when I say that I didn't notice anything all that wrong with the stunts from AVTAK. The only thing I thought was wrong was the idea of James Bond making a soufflee, but that is for a different post....
I also think it is great when any star does his or her own stunts -- it definately makes things more real, and allows for better filming opportunities. That being said, I would think there had to be some way to create a stunt that looks real and still doesn't put an already weakened knee in danger. If the Stunt crew can figure out how to safely get a man on motorcycle from one building to another via the sky (TND) then they could have figured out a way to use Pierce's strengths, while protecting his weaknesses.
Or perhaps, I am being naive. That has been known to happen. ;-)

he also cut his finger pretty badly before shooting ge. in his first scene with robbie coltrane, he couldn't hold the gun properly cause his finger wouldn't bend and had to strap his finger down.
i've heard about the back injury when shooting ge and was rushed to hospital, was that true?

Now would be a good time to film those hospital scenes we've heard about.
Good point :-D
I was just watching CNN and they have had this news on for a while now. It's #2 on the top news chart of cnn.com I quote M when I say "Unlike the American government we don't like to get outr bad news from CNN."

...And, on a more selfish note, I hope this doesn't become another excuse not to reveal the title next week (if that indeed is the plan).
Amen to that, Brother zencat.
You're really selective to your amen.
