Here is the concept - the outline for my Bond 21 will be written in this thread and I want you guys to comment on it.


SHATTERHAND

Bond walks in. Turns. Fires. Blood.

OPEN ON LONDON

BOND is in London - watching the exchange of some information between two enemy operatives. As the agents seperate - one blows the cafe up and then notices Bond and jumps onto a motorbike - but Bond is prepared and pursues on a Q Branch motorbike through London which eventually takes them into a London Underground station and onto the London Underground itself before eventually both motorbikes would collide with a train ... we reveal that this was just a VR Simulation in the VR Range. Bond makes a clever quip and walks out, segue to OPENING SEQUENCE

Some problems:

The opening sequence should introduce the villain's henchman or men working for the villain/ henchman.

The opening sequence should be a mission itself with Bond and possibly have someone from Mi6 in there as well.

It should be used as a backstory when the climax of the story happens. M/ Bond/ villain/ should refer to it.

There should be a big stunt, which you have, but the idea of it being VR totaly negates the purpose of a big stunt.

Now, things to keep:

The opening squence rarely takes place in a city. Keep London.

Motorcycle... COOL! Cough... Daytona Triumph 600... Cough

The London Underground is also cool. Have Bond dodge some trains.

Bond watching the two men. But have Bond looking through a sniper scope.

As for the two men... the one that Bond chases should be a woman, later revealed to be the villain's lover/ henchman.

Oops One other thing describe the actions with LOTS more detail. If you plan on writing it in actaull script format, do some research to see how it is done.

I came up with a completely new idea for the pre-titles of Shatterhand - now which one do you guys like better. This one has a stunt in it and brings in the main Bond girl character who will be met again later, but the storyline is otherwise unrelated to the rest of the movie. I took out the VR sequence because I want a VR sequence later in the movie ( don't worry - it's not as cheesy as the DAD one and it's more real life VR application ).

OPEN ON SAUDI ARABIA

DHAHRAN ( sp ? ) - Bond and Sophie are undercover as Islamic fundamentalist terrorists who plan on stealing US Army equipment from the Air Force Base in Dhahran. They use hi-tech equipment to break into the base and steal several things including a VTOL aircraft and a tank. Bond boards the tank and pretends to drive with the convoy but on the highway begins to take out the other terrorists before he climbs from the tank onto the truck that is stealing the VTOL aircraft. He and Sophie climb into the VTOL and set explosives off to blow the truck up, the explosives detonate and a fireball erupts - the VTOL emerges through the flames and flies towards us ...

... it morphs into a bullet and the gunbarrel rotates into view amid the explosions as the credit sequence begins. the credits are very goldeneye with a bold and brassy goldfinger style themetune.

Also forgot to mention the title has been augmented to possibly be BORN TO DIE
