I know this is already on the main page of Cbn, but I wanted to encourage eveyone to check out the all-new audio interview with The Living Daylights' Maryam d'Abo (Kara Milovy).
It's a great little piece as one of the best Bond girls (IMHO) talks about being a part of the 007 legacy, the experience of filming TLD, what it was like working with Timothy Dalton, and why he called it quits after two films.

Go here, and enjoy!!! :)

Well, aside from the fact it was way too quiet, was in a file format I hate (had to download the crappy player)...

It was a decent interview. I disagree about almost everything she said, but she's only a Bond girl. Haha.

She thinks, nowadays, girls are Bond's equal. No. Not only 'no' but they shouldn't even try to make them his equal. The Bond girl is a supporting role. When will they realise this?

She says it was a mutual thing between 'them' and Dalton. Nahh, he was fired, politely.

I do enjoy the character of Kara and the looks of Maryam, but she's a silly bitch when it comes to Bond.

Exactly. If Bond girls actually do become his "equal," then they become men, not women. It's a trend that reflects the current environment - women trying to be aggressive and independent, and usually ending up impolite.

Yeah, it isn't sexism, it's the way of nature.

Why can't people just be happy with that and realise it's not an insult, it's who you are.

Ahh well; it was still a decent interview and unexpected too.
