We have 6 one hour periods a day, so that is why 5 sounded like a lot to me.

8, 42 minute periods, 5 minute homeroom, one half hour lunch: Monday, Tuesday (no school tomorrow ), and Friday

4, 70 minute "block" periods, 5 minute homeroom, one half hour community period, and one half hour lunch.

Whoa! That's very different, but I suppose it might be rather good, so as to not get repititious day over day, luckily periods rotate on a daily basis. No school tomorrow for you?
