Tonight on ch9 news here in Los Angeles they were talking about "What Women Want"... and they were out on the streets asking women a bunch of different things but one question was "who they wanted celeb wise"...

Pierce Brosnan was the only man named more than once :) oh ya baby!

Just wanted to share :)

*blinks*

I think Pierce would be touched by your comments Macca. But then again, that's the point, right? For him to be touched.

I knew Pierce was something else when he became one of two men my mother and I agree are extremely sexy.

Not at all, my mother used to be his type, and now I am his type.

Pity he is married. :)

Frequently, evidently.

These women must be lesbians since Brosnan runs like a girl. :)

While we're on the topic of looks... do any of you CBn ladies find George Lazenby attractive?

I find him attractive now that he is older, but not when he played Bond.

Ditto Mr. Connery.

When I first saw OHMSS I have a crush on Lazenby for about a year after that. He's good looking too, just in a different way :) (I never had a crush on Connery or Dalton. But yes on Moore). But I've liked Pierce Brosnan since I was 7 y/o.

I don't think there's anything wrong will saying that if you were a chick you go for this so-and-so-guy. It doesn't mean you swing that way, it just means that the other person has qualities (outward or inner). Just like there's nothing wrong with me saying... "If I were a guy I'd go for Rosamund Pike or Izabella Scorupco." I mean I can certainly see why they're attractive.

George Lazenby is a sexy lookin' fella. Clooney's not bad either.

Just where the hell is this thread headed? :)

Here's a question for the ladies: while Brosnan may be the most classically good-looking of all the Bond actors, would you agree that he's not the most masculine?

The title of this thread says it all.... :) If he wasn't married and I ever had the opportunity, I'd take my chance. :)

But seriously, I think he represents a lot of qualities that I find attractive in a man. And I'm not only talking about looks.

As for your question, Loomis, I think that he is very masculine. Not in a macho way (he is above that :)). He's more subtle. This quality obviously appeals to some women. :)

I remember getting a TND poster with the close-up of Brosnan and the P-99 for Christmas when it came out and my wife telling me how good looking she thought he was. I've noticed a lot of gushing by women about Pierce when he's done interviews lately. That's what kind of mystifies me about the whole being too old thing.

The only other Bond I've ever really heard women go that crazy for is Connery.

Loomis... that question could be answered man different ways depending on how a woman saw and defined the word "masculine".

I personally think Pierce Brosnan IS the definition of "masculine". And no, I

And this is why it is good to be me. I just supervise, and let the other ladies do all the hard work. :)

Pierce may not be everyone's definition of mascueline, but he is pretty much what every man should be.

Hmmm.... strikes me as a bit of a tall claim, that one, but, fair enough, Xen, it's your opinion. :)

If every man was like Brosnan... life would be boring. NOT because it's Bronson (that would be exciting), but because then every guy would be the same and that's just no fun. Variety.

I don't know....the world full of Pierce's....I guess I can get my variety by going with long hair, short hair, facial hair, clean shaven...RS build, Bond build, etc. :)

When "GoldenEye" came out it brought in a LOT of females who otherwise didn't care for Bond.

There's not a name put forth to succeed Brosnan that will bring the same audience numbers in.
