Anyone want to talk about the theme from 1967's Casino Royale? It's one of the most annoying songs ever heard. It reminds me of a trip down the frozen pizza aisle at the grocery store. I know some people like it (hell, Mike Myers built a franchise from it!), but it's one of those songs that gets stuck in your head, and is...well, annoying!

Without a doubt.
I find that it gets stuck in my head on a failry regular basis and I've watched only parts of the movie once in the last few years.
Its the type of song that gets in your head and at first you smile at how insipid it is and then you realize just how insipid it really is and then you want to pull your own brain out of your end if it will just end this song.
The Look of Love, on the other hand, is a great song.

Oh come on, guys. I like it because it is one of those songs that screams its time period and brings certain images to mind. Kind of like Tom Jones music or something.
I'm sure some people will always associate the '80s with synthesizer music or the '90s with rap. Besides, you want annoying music to get stuck in your head -- the woman a few cubicles down from me had her Barry Manilow's Greatest Hits CD on a constant loop for 3 days once.

One of the signs you are at the gates of hell....
All Barry Manilow...all the time.

I love this song, together with the rest of the score: Burt Bacharach rules!

Well, to each their own, I suppose!

You can't hate old Herp and his brass: he did some of NSNA score you know.
For the type of film this is, it suits it like a silly grin!

Hold on...
I have a great apprreciation for the Tijuana Brass - Not the local law enforcement down there, but the musical group - and they contributed something to that movie that gave it a kick and complimented the mood of the farce.
That CD lives in the Jag's player.
Any of the TJ Brass and/or Brazil '66 is good by me and some of the swingin' bossa nova from the same era is fantastic. Classic 60's.
But don't get me started about folk music...

I like this song, quite a bit actually. It's really quite fitting for this type of a spoof Bond film, and I think it plays better onscreen than on the soundtrack.
The odd thing, is that this very song by The Tijuana Brass, I remember once hearing a long time ago playing as the game music for an arcade.
