Now maybe it's a stretch.

The new film by Quentin Tarantino, Kill Bill Volume 2, has been reviewed by Rolling Stone reviewer Peter Travers who says :

Tarantino knocks it out of the park.

If we look at the past Bond film, Die Another Day, Travers commented :

Brosnan . . . hits this one out of the park.

Could these two be ANY MORE intrinsically linked.

Proof ^^^

Peter Travers knows something :)

On the cover of my MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE II DVD, Travers opines:

"TOM CRUISE SIZZLES IN A BLAST OF THRILLS AND SUSPENSE."

Possibly not the world's most objective, perceptive or trustworthy critic. :)

Yes but he's an A-list critic, he'd have a lot more gossip than we would. I'm going to look at his other reviews, I bet there's more.

Maybe Peter Travers just needs to expand his vocabulary so that he can actually knock one out of the park :)

As opposed to knocking one off his wrist. :)

Movie critics are like weathermen: both get paid to provide an opinion and it doesn't matter if they are right or wrong.

Weathermen are more often than not, wrong, at least here in New York.

I listen to what critics have to say simply for a basis for the film, but how can you really know unless you go out and see it?

That's why you need to watch "Weather on the Ones" on NY1. :)

Such as yesterday for example, supposed to pour all day, nope, sunny all day and no rain, none today either. :)

I know someone who lives near Travers and plays tennis with Travers best friend. He told me that Travers son is a huge Bond fan.

So either he curries favor with the son by lauding the Bond films, or he is also a big fan of the series

Sounds like another overpaid nothing helping the mindless masses agree on nothing because nothing matters to noone.

Now read that backwards, really fast and upsidedown :)
