Why? Because some [censored]head thought they could make outdo Thunderball, and they were wrong on all counts.

THANKYOU! I'm amazed at the people who think NSNA again is superior to Thunderball. I've never known why. Still don't. It's probably like the eternal question of what women think, want etc. Before the girls jump up and down I mean from a male perspective :)

Thunderball had a better director, writer, script, editor, cast, better Bond, locations etc al.

Still the mind can boggle, or everything would be boring.

One to watch when your Bond dvds burn and all you have left is Casino Royale...

Of course I have it on DVD. But I am no fan. Its terrible. The sound quality is the worst I can think of in a major motion picture of the last 40 years. The dubbing as bad as it gets and why anyone would be interested in remaking the equally awful Thunderball can only be someone who never misses an opportunity in life.
