I wanted to take the topic below and expand on it.
Some of you may know that Cubby Broccoli
wanted T Dalton to star in Goldeneye. He thought that it would be to the benefit of
continuity and audiences if a familiar
face returned as Bond after six years.
Michael France had Dalton in mind when he wrote the original draft of Goldeneye.
Although it was modified my question is
how would you have ranked Goldeneye
if Dalton was in it as originally intended?
Personally i think TLD would still be better
, Goldeneye second followed by LTK in third place.
What do you guys think?
Which would have been better TLD, LTK or GE

As much as I loved Daltons bond movies I don't think he would have the same appeal to the general public. I feel this would have been a step backwards.

Goldeneye with Dalton would have easily become the best Dalton-era bond movie. Then comes LTK and finally TLD.

I think GoldenEye could have been the best, but not in the finished product we saw. I couldn't, for instance, see Dalton charming the field tester lady in the Aston Martin or romping in the steamroom with Xenia.
I do think the scenes with Trevelyan in the graveyard and the confrontation with M would have been great. This is one of those great couldabeen things for Dalton fans. On the other hand, it was a good beginning for Brosnan and brought the series back. So, everything worked out in the end.
