Agent Cody Banks digs DAD

"'Everybody wants to be James Bond,' says Frrankie Muniz, who resumes his role as the spy kid in March's Agent Cody Banks 2: destination London. And no secret agent flick has had more of an impact on him than 2002's Die Another Day, the only Bond film he's seen (Seriously? Come on Frankie. Go to the video store).
"Muniz looks for two things in his spy movies: killer gadgets and cool vehicles, with an emphasis on the latter. 'I love the cars in Die Another Day,' Muniz says. 'They have guns coming out of the hood and the sides. I love that.'
"In addition to showcasing some sweet wheels, the 20th Bond installment pits Pierce Brosnan's 007against a North Korean terrorist who controls Icarus, a laser harnessing energy from the sun. This weapon proves especially dangerous when Bond heads to the enemy lair -- an ice palace resembling the Sidney Opera House. 'I love the huge care sequence on the ice,' Muniz says. 'Cody Banks does baby stunts compared to what they do.'
"By his own admission, Muniz still has a lot to learn about the spy game. 'I don't know any real spies,' he says. 'But I don't think their job is anywhere near what James Bond and Cody Banks have to accomplish, like saving the world.' That's a big responsibility for a guy who prefers his martinis the only way he can get them -- with a fake ID." by Cristy Lytal
A caption under his picture reads "When the next James Bond movie comes out, Muniz says, "I'll definitely be there."
Purvis and Wade, are you listening? This is your audience. I wonder if his originial answer was xXx?

And why would it smack of promotion? DAD has been out for for well over a year now, theres really nothing left to promote about it. Unless you mean that it's promotion for Bond, again that doesnt make much sense, since the next Bond film wont be out for another year or two, by which time the public will have forgotten all about Muniz's quote.

See Agent Cody Banks then go rent or buy Die Another Day. Why is that hard to understand? The other pulled Bond films being conveniently pulled from the shelves and DAD the only one still in ciruclation, why not use it as a crossover plug of sorts? Both francises are made by the same company, so it doesn't seem much of a stretch. And why would it smack of promotion? I don't have anything against what the kid said. I think it's cool he likes Bond, but who's to say he didn't first say he liked xXx and his agent or some handler thought better of it and showed him DAD?

However, it is good that he does like Die Another Day. Hopefully, he'll start going to see some more Bond films and stop this Agent Cody Banks nonsense.
