I gotta say Roger had some funniest one liners.. and even better were some of his facial expressions!! He was a such a great actor... Also guys like John Glen put in funny visual sight gags done by other characters or extras!

* I have to say my #1 moment that makes me almost piss my pants is... When Roger is fighting JAWS at the end of Moonraker! Roger hits JAWS in the mouth and there is a "metal sounding Sound Effect" .. then moments later Roger hits JAWS in the balls.. and they use that same exact sound effect! ROGER's EXPRESSION is priceless!! :) :) :) :) :) I always laugh my azz off :)

another I love is..

* In Octopussy when Roger says a funny quick line " Thank God for hard currency" ..then.. throws the wad of money away in the air.. and it LANDS in a begger's plate! :) :) :)

John Glen was great at putting those quick lite moments. :)

Yes, I think Roger's films were the funniest of the lot and all the better for it.
I find MR & MWTGG contain the funniest moments;

"I think he's attempting re-entry, sir!".

"She's just coming, sir!".

"Oh, I've lost my charm". "Well... not from were I'm standing!".

Not my all time favorite, but I really can't think of one....

"His name's Jaws. He kills people." :)

I always like, "Well, you put your clothes on...and I'll buy you an ice cream cone..." The way he delivers this line, along with his facial expression, is hilarious.

Any time we cut from a stuntman to a fake close up of Roger against rear projected scenery to convince us that Roger is really doing his own stunts.

"Goodnight sir." is one of the few of Roger's that really work for me.

There are most likely better instances if I thought about it more, but as soon as I read this thread title I immediately thought of the scene in which "Baby Doll" was throwing herself onto Bond in For Your Eyes Only and he responds with the "Uncle Ari" (but saying like it's Uncle [H]arry) quip, and following it up with the icecream crack.

I love that shot!!

also..

in FYEO when the motorcycle guys crash the lunch table and that guy gets hit in the face with a cake :)

The gondola: Stupid, yet funny.

The double-taking bloke/pidgeons: Hilarious.

The Laser melting the dummy's head: Priceless.

Chang in a China Shop: ROFL.

Any scene with Jaws: ROFL LOL

Tarzan swing: Too funny to describe.

Telling tiger to sit: ????

The clown costume: The most bizarre clown since the one in Billy ('Hey, kids, it's me. I bet you thought that I was dead!') Madison. Scarier than IT.

Kananga's Death: ROFL LOL ROFL L L L L

Roger swallowing the 'charm': LOL

The list goes on. But one of my fav one liners:

'His name's Jaws. He kills people'

Result every time.

Q - "Well it runs on hot air"
Bond - "Oh then you can".

I love it in Moonraker when Drax gets him to shoot a bird. Bond aims and fires supposedly missing.

Drax: You missed Mr Bond.

Henchman falls from the tree, dead.

Bond: Did I?

Also in Moonraker when he's on the plane at the start and the pilot shows up with the parachutes with the intent of he and his lady friend jumping of leaving Bond to which Bond responds in a really dead pan manner;

"A little premature isn't it."

The scene in the truck of The Spy Who Loved Me is great.

"Would you like me do drive?"

"Let's try reverse, that's backwards"

"Women drivers"

The facial expressions he has make these all the moore funny.

LOL! I love that scene Johnboy, and that he seems to have a quip ready for her after every single moment. Always a favorite.

It took me a long time to notice that line you mentioned from the early scenes of Live And Let Die because Bond says it so quietly, but I loved it when I first heard it then. :)

"Drop it, or forever hold your piece."

He was on Conan a while back and mentioned that as being one of his favorite lines. I'd tend to agree.

I've said it before on here but I'll say it again....

Woman
Oh, I've lost my charm.

Bond
Not from where I'm standing!

Seen it again day before yesterday and it still gets a roar from me!

When Bond rides his gondola through Venice and then a bird does a double-take!

Ok, the sequence was more stupid then funny, but same thing.

I've always enjoyed Bond's lines to the Log Cabin girl, and to the African job girl, both had some interesting ones as pretitle sequences.
