How cool was Get Smart. Don Adams' comedy is simply timeless. I think this was the best Bond spoof ever. KAOS was an ingenius take-off of SPECTRE.
Get Smart succeeded in not only parodying Bond, but it succeeded as a hilarious, classic TV show in it's own right.

"Missed it by that much."

I LOVE IT!!! :)

I've seen some re-runs and I always thought this was a great show. Definitally needs to be on DVD.

I really like Get Smart also. I never see it on TV Land anymore though. This is one TV show that really should be on DVD.

Fantastic show.

Brilliant casting, hilarious scripts, and some of the most memorable TV moments... the cone of silence, the shoe phone, the one-liners...

Always love catching this on TV.

I absolutely loved the TV series, but didn't know how truly dreadful "The Nude Bomb" was until I saw it again two nights ago on TV. Two times worse than any two eps of the series.

Yes, The Nude Bomb seems a bit of a disgrace to the whole thing.

Love those funky opening titles, though.

Yes, I agree with you [dark] (can I call you dark for short? :) ). The only thing I liked about the movie.

Caught tail-end of The Nude Bomb on TV again last night, which aired on the good Mr. Don Adams' birthday [would you believe he's 81?!].

I feel the problem with The Nude Bomb, is it just doesn't feel like Get Smart. That brilliant opening music from the TV show is gone, 99 is nowhere to be seen and parts of it are just too absurd [i.e. that giant zipper]. The production values, too, for a theatrical release, really don't cut it. Even though the opening aerial stunts are quite good, parts of it really look rather cheap. Take, for instance, the exterior of that chalet, which is clearly on an indoors set.

Again, though, I love the opening titles, as un-Get Smart-esque as they are, and the opening song is a great Bond-style piece, with lyrics penned by none other than Don Black.

Adams really carries the film and he hasn't changed since the 1960s series, but sadly, it isn't quite enough. Looks good for 57, though! And, as daft as it is, the clone fight at the end is choreographed quite well.

The Nude Bomb is trotted out here on TV every year or so, but I wish they'd give the 1989 film, Get Smart, Again! a go, because I don't think I've seen it. Best still, it re-unites most of the cast, including 99, Hymie and, best of all, Siegfried!

First I've heard of this, but Warner Bros.' is remaking the show as a feature film, with some guy called Steve Carrell in the lead.

Even though I've never heard of this Carrell fellow, Don Adams is irreplacable. Heck, he was still playing the character in the 90s!

Never saw the show on TV, but I remember Maxwell Smart in "The Nude Bomb." Classic!
