You know what's random? La Savate. I never knew the French had martial arts dating back to the 1800's!!!

I saw a TV show called Deadly Arts, where they showed a dramatization where this dude in 1800's attire is about to get mugged, and he uses self-defence techniques (and cane-fighting) to take the muggers out! It was the coolest thing I've ever seen!!!
