I remember they did make a TSWLM game for the Amiga and other platforms in the early nineties. Was a nice idea.

I can see The Living Daylights making a good game, meself. Plenty of action, globe hopping and scope for popping some extra scenes/levels between them.

A game based on Moonraker would be interesting. Thunderball would be cool too, If they could find someway of making the underwater fighting realistic.

A nice idea.

Here's another.

What if they turned some of the Gardner and Benson books into games? A For Special Services game (can you imagine how cool the race-track scene would be?) or a High Time to Kill game (with different levels of the mountain)? If Eon Productions are going to ignore these books --with their great characters, action sequences, locations and titles -- why not send them over to EA?

I've long thought that that would be a cracking idea- be nice to see some of the old titles given a re-jig. I'd quite enjoy a revamped Win, Lose or Die- or even SeaFire could be turned into something workable.

Negative-wise- I can see how they'd rather come up with a fresh idea than pay some old writers and a publishing house loyalties, plus re-doing old films means that some of the design work has already been done for them.

Indeed, the entire middle bit of FSS would make an excellent game! That one seems to really have the perfect layout.

I'd love to see a game based on The Man With The Red Tattoo. Imagine the fencing sections you'd be able to play!

I agree, while these games would be cool, it would be better to have games based on original ideas.

The Spy Who Loved Me would also make a good game.

I think THE SPY WHO LOVED ME, GOLDFINGER AND LICENCE TO KILL would make great bond games! EA should use the bond contract to there advantage!

I think doing games of the classic Bond films is a great idea.

But as long as EA don't get their grubby mitts on them. At all.

apparently, it's not really a bond game, it's really you playing as the villain against bond. I think I can some this idea up in a word: CRAP! And after how good EON was too, it's a bloody shame.

Oh, and the new GoldenEye game is apparantly under the working title of GoldenEye 2. Hopefully it won't be released with that title though.

I don't care if it sucks! I'll still have the old Goldeneye plus another Bond game...
I'm starting quite a collection.

I suppose all this will become much clearer come E3, but I'd wager that EA are going to try and make the story of the next game a sequel to Goldeneye. It would be the sensible option, as trying to remake the first game third or first person would just result in a negative comparison due to everyone's fond memories of the first game.

Plus, with all the money they spent on getting the likeness and voice of the entire regular cast, going down the route of what sounds like a rather poor rip off of UT hybridised with the game Evil Genius just sounds plain stupid. Hell, they could do that, but it would virtually kill any respect garnered from EoN (which, might I say, is absolutely AWESOME!), which rectifies at least some of the faults with their Bond series of games.
