Lots of locations...that's my kind of BCW. And this is the first time the hotel rooms have been included in the price which make this BCW very resonable indeed.

We are so there. :)

Alas, I'll be too busy outfitting my secret volcano lair.

So far luck is with me as the locals haven't yet queried about all the construction equipment and workers plying to and from a particular mountain in Bali.

So, exactly which guests will be there? Looks like I won't be attending one of these until the day of BCW NY.

BCW NY might not be that far off.

No guests mentioned yet, but I'm sure Matt is woking on a few "surprises." He always does. :)

No, no, no. No BCW in NY. It would be bad. Very bad

That crew loose in my city would be the end of the city.

NYC has been discussed as a locale during the last three BCW's. Another idea is a cruise.

After Miami though, US related Bond locales will be a short list.

I'm sure we'll be discussing the next one as we always do.....Usually at the end of events on Sunday in a lounge somewhere with a bar tab that's always over a $100 :)

A bar tab that always over a 100? Didn't you forget a zero? :)

I have a sneaking feeling that since Spyfest and BCW were broken up this year, the Spyfest may wind up being in NYC or DC, so we will have to play that one by ear.

So how many of you will be there next weekend? Hard to believe it's here already.

I know I dropped off the board last fall but I'm excited to catch up with everyone in Miami. Alas, we couldn't find a sitter for the weekend so Kourt will only be able to attend a few of the daytime events with our twins in tow but 009 will be looking to make up for lost time in the world of Bond.

No clue as to my costume though. Shark eaten Felix :) too obvious. Bond's Light Blue Terry Cloth Jumper from Goldfinger??...Too hideous. Any ideas?

See you there.

I wish I could go... :)

...maybe if I could take the Greyhound... :)

...Miami does sound fun... :)

...lots of girls... :)

...booze... :)

...more girls... :)

...Ah man! I'm working that weekend... :)

...Ah well, have fun guys! :)

Glor (009): I'm not sure on how many people will be coming... but I'm guessing something like 26-30. It's going to be sooooo fun! I can't wait! I have my costume all planed out but I don't want to give anything away about it, though it's difficult not to. :) I'm sure you'll come up with some cool costume!

SPECTRE_ASSASSIN: last year it was over at the Queen Mary. That was the first time I attended. They actually attempted a convention type thing and Gloria Hendry informed me about it. The BCW was going on as well; John Cork was able to get me into that (thanX to the generosity of Matt Sherman). But now they're going back to just the Bond Collectors Weekend private party. There will be one next year I'm sure. You'll make it to one of em, I'm sure. :)

9 Days and Counting Till BCW-007!

Believe it or not, it was already done at BCW5. And done very well I might add.

009 - Good to hear from you and Flicka and I look forward to seeing you again.

As to costumes....Tough call.

I'm sticking with my tux.

See you in Miami my friend.

Nice to see you back on the boards.

Thanks Bryce. I'll try to stick around longer this time though my job keeps me quite busy.

I too am looking forward to Miami. The sun, the sand, the cold drinks. Guinness anyone?

Good to know I will recognize a few folks there.

Indeed!

Quite.

No, Really.

I know to only whisper the word "vermouth" in the presence of your martini's.

Looking forward to it.

I wish I was going! I live in Clearwater, but I'm still not going to be able to make it. I'll be in Key West in about 3 months.... too late.

Too loud!!! Now my vodka tastes all sweet and funky.

I'm trying to determine the best way to travel with a bottle of Grey Goose. Can you put that in your carry-on? I'd hate to have something go wrong in my suitcase and have all of my clothes smelling like citron. I might get attacked with this croud. I'll have to find some blue cheese olives for the wife. She likes her olive juice with vodka when it comes to dirty martinis.

Kourt wants to watch all of the Bond films with Florida in them before we go. Saturday will be a Bondfest in our house. Picked up all three box sets for Christmas.

Too bad the Aston Martin is no longer at the Boca Raton Airport. :)

Flicka's just returned my copy of LALD (novel) and we're planning on watching LTK on the flight out. She's just started reading my LTK novelisation and will also be reading the Miami parts of Goldfinger.

It's almost like she's cramming for an exam.

Kind of cute. She's one dedicated Bond girl.

I'm sending her to the spa on Friday before the festivities.

As to traveling with your preferred bottle Glor, a carry on isn't a bad idea. I find also that the addition of a gift bag (you can usually find one near the booze at your favorite store) is a good idea. The airport goons are less likely to mess with or take a "gift" - even if it is a gift for yourself (the best kind :) ). I'm partial to the garlic stuffed olives myself, but only in a bloody mary. A cool slice of lemon only for my martini.

Hey where's my spa treatment? :)

Maybe if you ask a certain "Sly Cat" you can come and play too. :)
