Why would the Japanese give Bond and Jinx permission to land in their country? Really couldn't happen, I'm afraid (okay, neither can gene therapy or invisibility as portrayed in the film....).

Japan? Impossible. Try flying into Japanese airspace from North Korea without permission. Did it once myself and had to eject when I saw a huge missile coming at me. Sometimes, you just have to remember that the Bond film's are full of rubbish.
