You can find it on the CD of the march issue of Official Playstation magazine!

I played it and I just can say... AWESOME!

Why was it good? Are you just saying that because as a Bond fan you are naturally biased? Is it actually good to play?

Actually he probably is beaing biased. The demo is extremely hard as it is set on 00 Agent difficulty which is the hardest. Let me just say that it makes for quite a lacklustre playing experience.

Now I don't know if I should go out and buy the magazine or not. The actual game comes out in eleven days.... Why do they wait so long on these things?

I played the demo for X-Box and I found the 1st level they demo-ed to be very difficult (the level where 007 jumps off the burning building) - and the multi player level was the same way. The Motercycle level though, I managed to pass... and I had a blast doing it! I've played it a number of times since. But yes, it has to be set of 00-agent. eep!

What baffles me is, how do they expect to sell extra copies of the game if they provide a demo like this?
They should have set it on medium so that way people wouldn't think it was too easy or too hard. Or better still, just include a difficulty setting in the demo?
That said though, I did manage to complete both levels. But if I was just a general gamer and not a Bond fan, I'm not sure how I would have felt about it.

My opinion is not biaised. I like the 3rd person perspective and I think the game is better that way. The graphics are smooth and the game is easy to control.

I don't think that the game is set on 00 level, because I passed the two mission whitout any problem.

(refering to the XBOx Demo, as I don't have a PS2) It wasn't THAT hard, yeah, it took a few tries, but after that, I could beat those levels no prob! it's more fun to play on the harder difficulties because it's more of a challenge AND you won't beat the game in a day! Yeah, most people don't realise this, and quite frankly, I know many people who play a game just to get done with it as quick as they can, 50 bucks down in 2 days!

And there was no need to bother JMF007 just because he thought it was awesome, because it was. The music was excellent (being a bond/24 fan I would have it no other way), the action was great, the different ways to do things seemed much better then in Nightfire. The game was wonderfully set up and I was shocked how well bond does in 3rd person.

I agree...it took me all of 3 tries to beat the first level :)

'Bother'? You make it sound as if I am making a nuisance of myself. I am stating that Bond fans are biased towards Bond games no matter what the gameplay is like be it good or bad. I seem to remember somebody claiming that 007 Racing was one of the best Bond titles. And unless he was being incredibly scathing of all the other games, it goes to show the bias present in our psyche.

I play videogames and I find it irksome when a fan of a franchise makes a sweeping generalisation of a game based on it. There have been so many dull Bond games since GoldenEye and each has been touted as "Could this be the game to beat GoldenEye??!!!!??!!" with such dissappointing results that I remain skeptical over the success of EoN, especially with Electronic [censored] at the helm. So I don't think I'm being unfair when I ask exactly why he thinks it is good.

but if you've played the Demo, it is clear that it's EA's best bond and what may be one of the more enjoyable then most games on the market. For example, I am more of an Indy fan then Bond fan, and I can say that this is better then any indy game I've played

Yes but that in itself is not a reasonable enough explanation. You have to explain what exactly was good about it.

A bit demanding, are we? lol

A friend of mine told me about the demo, as he played it a little while ago. He loved the motorcycle level, and said it was amazing. He wasn't too comfortable with the controls for the other level, however. Are they really that awkward?

Only six more days...:)

So you are saying that EON is better than Fate of Atlantis? Those are pretty tough shoes to fill, but then also, it is a totally different style of game. So I assume it's better than Infernal Machine, which souldn't be too hard, and Emperor's Tomb, which, IMO, is the 2nd best Indy game. I hope EON is as good as that game, but better! Now I am more excited about it......... 8 more days will tell....

Well, I broke down and went out and bought the demo last night. I must say.. it is quite fun indeed... Just a little annoying on aiming your rockets while driving the bike. Other than that.... looks like I'll be dishout of the $50 for the game on the 17th..... just when I'm trying to save some money too....

I just played the X-Box game and I gotta say it's friggin amazing. Even better than goldeneye. The graphics are great, the controls are smooth, and the action and stealth are very well done. (good enough, brix bond? lol)

I've had the UK version of the demo for some time now , and think it is indeed by far the best game since the N64's Goldeneye. I just hope that the levels are not too short, as I like a game that keeps you going for a long time without becoming boring.

Anyway not long to go and my pre-ordered copy will dropping through my letter box. :)

I disagree - we should be milking Everything Or Nothing for all it's worth - after all, it might very well be Brosnan's last performance as Bond!

I own a Gamecube and as such, am not privy to demo-disks for some stupid, stupid reason. I just hate it when I open a thread and there's a single line trying to explain something that obviously requires more. It would be like:

"From Russia With Love"

[Main body] "It's great"

Can you see what I'm getting at? And thank you for all your insights. Not long now till I can see for myself.
