So what is your favorite quote and/or passage from Fleming's Bond novels? There are so many time when reading his work where I sit back and just think that the man was a poet! Be it a humorous line, an insightly commentary or just an intense, suspenseful passage, which one is your favorite to read?
What is your favorite quote or passage?

I quite like my signature. I think it shows Bond in a paragraph.

Personally, I adore the first paragraph of chapter 23 in DAF. Pretty romantic.

I really like Jim's sig, but these are mine:
'Since last January he has ceased to be an animal. By a simple stroke of surgery on the woman he loved, I reduced him to human dimensions.'
Fits my life at this moment
'No self respecting man could get through the day without his battery of four-letter words to cope with the roughage of life and let off steam. If you're late for a vital meeting with your superiors, and you find you left all your papers at home, surely you say, well, Freddie Uncle Charlie Katie, if i may put it so as not to offend'
Just plain funny

I had it in my sig for awhile; It's from LALD:
Those who deserve to die, die the death they deserve.
Don't know what it is about it, I just really like that one.

I like "No. Spelled like yes?" A real funny passage.
