Clopin wrote a mail to me saying that this is a photo from an Ice Hotel somewhere in Scandinavia. I checked this and I found that site: http://www.expressen...le.asp?id=94378

While I don't understand Scandinavian, I can see the words "Agent 007" and "James Bond" many times on the page. It even says "filmen" and "Sean Connery" on there as well. Are you sure this photo is unrelated to Bond 20 then?
In case it is a photo of the real thing, I think it looks cool (excuse the pun). Reminds me of the days of YOLT... the villain's lair set in a volcano....
Hey! Since I'm from Norway I just wanted to confirm that this is an Ice hotel. I think it is in Sweden. Let's hope the villains lair will be a good one this time.

48 hours later and we're all assuming that these are shots of the set, or at best, clues as to what they are up to.

make for an exotic HQ for the archvillain.
I just posted something along this line of thinking in another thread.
A little scary, thinking like Jim.
Go lie down in a darkened room and listen to soothing whalesong.
Not that this will do any good, but it'd be funny to watch.

Reports are suggesting the "Ice Palace" is based on the famous ice hotel. It looks like a magnificent structure and if located in the middle of a frozen wasteland, would make for an exotic HQ for the archvillain.
