Imagine my surprise when I checked the post this morning and found a signed copy of "Face Blind" in the box. Not only signed by Raymond Benson himself, but it also looks like he posted it from the US too! :)

Anyway, I've entered so many competitions over the last few months, I can't remember whether I entered the CommanderBond.net competition or not ...

If it is from the CommanderBond.net competition - Thanks! I've not won anything for about 20 years, and it's made a nice start to the day! :)

Congratulations Double-0 Six! :) I've got to buy mine from amazon, I've waited long enough in getting it! I hope you like it!

A very nice surprise! :)

As an added bonus, I've got 2 Raymond Benson autographs in one package ... he's signed the little Airmail sticker on the envelope that explains the contents (as well as the book).

What a nice bloke. :)

Thanks again for the competition! Made my day, this has ...

I just got home from school and when I looked at the mail I was shocked to see a package for me. I am not expecting anything from eBay, so I looked at the return address and it said Raymond Benson! I also won a signed copy of 'Face Blind'. Thanks, CBn! :)

I also got a copy in the mail today. WOW! I never expected to win. This kinda makes up for having 4(!) packages of James Bond things i had won on eBay stolen from my front steps after the mail carrier had left them. Thanks, CBn!!!

It was kinda funny seeing Raymond Benson in the return address sticker...i also wasnt expecting anything from eBay and was thinking "What the heck is this?"...I had forgotten aboutthe contest, i had assumed i didn't win...Thanks again,CBn! you guys are the best!

Well done to those who won and commiserations to those who entered but didn't. You can still get Face Blind for a discount price though, exclusive to CBn, just check out the main page at the top!

How come the names of winners are never posted on the main page?

I've gotten the impression Tanger, that CBn just allows the winners to tell others if they've won or not. I guess they want to leave the decision up to them.

But why?
And how are the winners picked?
Why would they not want to name the members who have won?

Not sure. Perhaps, for some sort of privacy? :)

Don't really know, but I'm sure there is a good reason why it happens they way it does.

1. Double-0 Six
2. Righty007
3. Predator007
4. philbowski
5. Tanger

That means five more people have a chance to receive one in the mail, assuming that the five winners come out about it.

We used to announce the winners, but just due to privacy reasons, I'm sure I explained this somewhere else, but if the winners want to come out about winning, that's entirely their choice! Well done five of you so far! Look out for more competitions in the future folks! :)

Out of curiosity - how many people entered the competition?
(Wondering if I won because only 10 people entered!) :)
