To be honest I never understood why they didn't in the first place. A post is a post after all.

I never knew that at first, post counts didn't count in that forum, that is until I finally read the disclaimer! :)

I wonder why the change occurred?

I don't see why it isn't public knowledge. Unless, it is of course, something that just shouldn't be discussed. Were the Forum Games ever like the way they are now, with the posts counting?

The game forum posts have never counted towards members total post count until now. We recently decided to change it

well i dont think being in the FDC gets you any more respect that nyou have now. It doesnt matter to me. I dont see why people are obsessed with the post counts..Im just here to have fun with these games and put my opinion about bond out there.

I think about this pretty much the same way as Daniel did. I also think General Discussion posts should not necessarily count since a lot of those do not refer to 007...

However, it really is not a major deal for me!

I'm pretty much against post totals, full stop, but if we must have them then I don't see why they should apply only to some forums but not to others.

Why would I think you were threatening to leave? Might it be because you seem to post an explicit threat to leave every five minutes? :)
