I'll have to go to the comic shop this week, but I just hope this series is a little more on time then their Snake Plissken Chronicles series... that is a very fun book to read, but it is always at least a month behind it's due date.....

It sounds like the film Casino Royale but I'll give it a try.

I'm not really a big comic person but since those Bond ones are coming out soon I might see if I can get hold of these too.

Tanger, ya the Bond comics I'm interested in taking a look at. i probably won't buy them (seeing as ZenCat, the mad collector, will).
As for "Kiss Kiss Bang Bang" ...did anyone pick it up? And what was it like?

Artwork and story are pretty decent so far. It borrows a sex-humour tone from the Danger Girl book, but not as visually cartoony. The hero is an ego-maniac and everyone is expendable.
Sean Connery's likeness makes a brief cameo in a party scene.

Is the comic available to the British Market, say through Forbidden Planet? Or will I have to roder it from America?

I hope these show up on eBay soon, I'd love to read them. I've just got quite a few of the Bond comics of there so I'd love to compare them.

Anyone read the first issue yet?
I'd like to share my thoughts, cause I've already seen it.
There are two things that I found fresh in KKBB, and almost wished James Bond did it somewhere. Cause 007's been rapidly becoming a way too PC and tame like poodle, as far as killing and women are concerned.
First, the way Basildon dispatched with La Chance, killing his female hostage. Yes, it's rough, but it's new, unpredictable. I wonder if Bond could (or would) do such a thing? And would you like to see him doing it in a movie, or in a book?
Second, the way he got Stephanie laid, not telling her password from the outset. I think this scene is nice.
It's pretty tough to invent a new spy hero, but CrossGen seem to be on the right way.
