LOL Snowie! Well, most of those came from the Quote Conversations and Games, my personal favorite threads on CBn. I love 'em and am always encouraging everyone else to participate in them! :)

I do enjoy the quote conversations although I have yet to really get involved in the games -- other than the MOLE of course :)

Yes, it's nice to have all the games on CBn. It seems like participation has somewhat decreased in the conversations and games, but it's nice that we have new games now like the Mole. :)

Well I have a feeling I will not be able to join in for the MOLE II for quite an obvious reason. :)

LOL Snowie! Well, maybe something will happen, you just never know with games! It would certainly throw off some players ideas of who the MOLE is though.... :)

The update is nice. I like the whole commander theme to the ranking system. And I dare say that the MGM restrictions have forced you to become more creative with the home page banner.

I think those restrictions have actually worked to our advantage as Mr * has done the fantastic job of creating something perfectly unique and closer (I feel) to the literary Bond!

I was going to comment on the sites graphics. Having MGM crack down on image use was the best thing that ever happened to us. Just look at all the wonderful graphics. Way better than a collage of film stills. It really gives the site a uniqueness and sets it apart from every other Bond site out there.

I agree with Tanger on this point. I love the use of color on this site, the whole CBN site looks crisper and more exciting.

Congratulations on the updates. A couple of questions: does the "Warn" feature appear only in one's own, er, box-type thing where one's avatar goes, or is it visible to all? And how does one search for past posts by people?

Apologies if the above are silly questions, but I've only just returned to CBn and am still trying to figure out the lay of the land. :)

Congrats on your avatar, Darren!

Yes the Warn feature is a method for the moderators to warn a poster and thus restrict their access privileges. It is not visible to all.

It seems that with this option that a text box appears below much like in the previous forum set-up, instead of a reply window opening up??!!

This is all gonna take some figuring out. I'm sure I'll be posting quite a bit today, to try and get the hang of things.

ETA: Thanks, Mr A, but in what way is "Fast Reply" any, well, faster than a "normal" reply?

In other words, why use it?

I just click on the 'Fast Reply' button and the response box appears.
