anyone notice where you can tell a re-write or an edited out part of a gardner book, everyone once and a while he'll go threw this phase and espcially in his later works...where something half-important to the novel will happen but will cut back after its happened...or the'll be blank spot
For Special Serivces does this alot, espcially when they go to NORAD...sure he's brainwashed but still couldn't gardner give us a little hint that Bond is General James Baker..? he made a pacing reference at the end of the chapter before that...maybe i just started reading real fast or something...but it seems weird...
