No, I'm not about to go off on some insane, profane rant. My latest guest review, this time around it's 3000 Miles to Graceland, for www.agonybooth.com was posted this evening and I thought I'd share. Hope you guys enjoy it.

PS: The review is definitely PG-13 in nature and the level of badness on screen nearly drove me to insanity, just a little caution. :)

I like the Tombstone version of Wyatt Erp better.

Having done a little amateur reviewing myself I love the fact you've avoided the boring task of praising films and got straight to the fun part of trashing them.

Thanks, matt. It's actually quite the stress reliever. :)

I'm not sure I agree with the intention of just 'trashing' films - u r doing this to people with feelings who worked long and hard over them.
Most of the reviews who give this impression will not be taken that seriously.

To quote Roger Moore: "Those that can - Do; those that can't do - Teach; and those that can't do either, become critics"!!!!.

Not to come off as defensive, but I have written several screenplays and graduated from film school, though I currently lack the time and resources to make any headway. Furthermore, I do the reviews for fun and to keep my writing skills sharp, nothing more. :)

I love trashing films, its far more fun than actually praising something.
Look at this site for instance. For a place where we are all Bond fans, there are far more threads bashing Bond than there are praising it.

Genewriter don't tempt fate.... if u 'bash' - what goes around comes around.... its like cynisism - u be cynical and very soon u will be surrounded by cynics.
