CBn relationship counseling service?

Hence the CBn relationship counseling service. Someone (*stares at Xen*) to help sort things out when things go awry. It's happened to me and others - silly things get said, problems erupt and being an online community nobody backs down until Blue Eyes lays the smackdown and closes the thread (sealing it off for future generations so savour).
It doesn't have to be this way people, this isn't CBn Survivor - we don't want to lose our comrades due to infighting. I'd point a lot toward the more senior members and administrators of the site who often inflame things even further. Their attempts at 'conflict resolution' are clearly lacking and if anyone can think of a better way to stop an exodus I'd love to hear it.
You know when we have new members, arriving with a flurry of complaints about how awful their former forums were - I'd hate for that to become us.

It is the responsibility of the members to prevent infighting amongst themselves. It is the responsibility of the administrators to step in at the first sign of provocation and warn those members involved that action will be taken if they don't stop immediately.
If there are only the occasional departures due to tantrums it's unfortunate but not serious. If the trickle becomes a flood then a lot of members and administrators will have to take a good look at themselves and ask what can I do to stop this before CBn gets a bad reputation.

I can vouch for that. I saw recently how great the CBN staff are through a wonderful gesture of support and sympathy recently.

Though occasionally, I admit I can be tactless when riled, I do try my best to resolve any issues that arise, but a lot of the time (because we're not dealing with 'real' interactions) people can either be inflatedly stubborn or insulting, knowing that there are no 'real' repercussions that will result from the argument.

The good thing is Carol does look younger every day, but then hair dye can do wonder's.
I discovered I had piles when we where in Samos in June this year. The Pharmacist gave me a 2" cream that I had to insert up there. Also my friend ( Gordon ) has a blemish on his fore-skin and had to ask for cream as well. You can imagine the embarassment asking for this.
Ok, I only added this in to annoy Jim because I know he doesn't like to discuss anthing else except Bond. But isn't this under 'general discussion's'?.
All the best,
Cheers,
Ian

Your right Xen, I'm glad stuff goes on behind the scenes. A large part of the problem in such incidents is people don't try and resolve their own differences but try and gain 'sides' through posts in the public forums - so good to hear.

So... anyone need some counseling, just come to me. I've been know to give stellar advice. Whether or not I can handle my own need for counseling, that's another story. But I can dish it out.

Brix! DUDE! I had a colonoscopy too! Was drugged, but still remember a few things... I won't put you guys through all of it, but let's say it was interesting to see myself from a 'whole different perspective'...

The mental image created here....I now need counselling.
How ironic.
