Has anyone else bought/heard this CD yet? I got it on Tuesday, when it was released, and was initially underwhelmed by the album. Although, I immediately loved brief use of Goldsmith's Gremlins theme in Track 5, "Out of the Bag". Track 9, "Car Trouble", is also a very memorable track - very fun and energetic.

I've been listening to it frequently lately, and it's started to grow on me. But still, I think there is a part of me that is somewhat disappointed - I guess that's what happens when you look forward to a CD for months!!!

Pity.

Seems to me that a really good soundtrack should hit you right where you live.

I guess its okay for it to grow on you (kinda sounds like mold) but...

How many tracks to the CD?

I think about 21 - two of which are old, classic Looney Tunes themes, each about 14/16 seconds long.

But it isn't such a bad thing about the growing on factor - my favorite all time score, which is from Rambo: First Blood Part II, took some time before I really loved it. Same with some of my other favorite scores, like Tomorrow Never Dies and Conan The Barbarian.

So, you get a little old material...

And some ORIGINAL scores?

Interesting.

I'm actually interested.

Where did you get them from?

It was fun, but not epic and SHORT. 37 minutes of CD, haven't seen the film, so not sure of the total music time but Varese typically short-changes the purchaser of all music.

Yes, they are definately guilty of that. Until about ten years later, when they rerelease the CD and make the fans pay another $20 for the rerelease.
