Oakey Dokey folks....everyone who is in the NYC area, take note:

We are meeting at 1 pm tomorrow at 30 Rockafeller Center, the NBC building. Be at the entrance, and that is where we will gather. What we do from there will be planned as we all meet up.

Well, I can't come to this one sadly. Although, I truly hope to meet my fellow NY'ers soon! Perhaps once I get my driver's license.

Alas...no pictures....I forgot my camera!

Well, we all met by the tree at about 1 PM. Robinson and I had a classic New York Moment:

R: Where are you?

X: By the front doors of 30 Rock.

R: I'm walking, I'm walking...I'm in front of the tree....

X: I don't see you...I don't even hear your voice...oh wait! Yes I do!

Eventually, we also found TGO, who was doing his best undercover impersonation.

We walked around the Radio City area, looking for a restaurant that did not have a three day wait to be seated, and finally found an Applebees that did the trick. We had a lovely lunch with some shop talk and some life talk, and then I had to take off to meet up with some other friends for the holidays.

The boys were heading downtown to brave the crowded stores, so I'll let them pick up the story from there!

Sounds excellent Xen! Sorry, that I wasn't able to show, although, once I get my license to drive, I'll have more options to get to NYC! I hope everyone had a great time though.

Hmm, I just noticed this thread.

Anyways, after the lunch at Applebee's, me and Robinson went to Best Buy in Chelsea so I could get a giftcard from there to give to a co-worker. After that, we went to this magazine shop so he could show me some film magazines. Robinson is a pretty cool guy...I dont know why more of you didnt come.

I would have, except we were in Florida that weekend. Perhaps in 2004.
We're only a short car ride away.
