What about 'Will and Grace's' Eric McCormack as Bond?.He is about 6ft,40,looks 35,and is in good shape before even going off to the gym pre-Bond...........He is a classically trained Canadian actor with five years in the theatre doing the bard and also Chekhov.And as the above sitcom shows,his comic timing is brilliant.He could pull off a tough guy,do the accent etc,and he has been in the great 'Lonesome Dove'(playing Col.Mosby).As a Scot,I plump for Gerald Butler amongst the serious picks.So what do you think about Eric?(i beseech you all to watch will and grace as it has some great one-liners)Oh and his character in that show is gay.............he is not,with a wife and children...........I leave you with a pic of him

Eric's face is too cute to be Bond. It's lacks the edge the other five have.

Sorry, I just don't like Eric McCormick. He isn't very good as Will and he would be even worse as Bond.

We wouldnt be a convincing Bond. He doesnt even have an accent. Never will he be Bond. That simple..... and even if he is Canadian doesnt mean he has a chance to be bond.

Yeah, as an American, I honestly don't see too much of a difference between Canadian and American - what it all boils down to is that he's not from the UK or even Australia (in an absolute extreme case... - j/k, as I have nothing against Australians).

Ok,so perhaps not for bond,but Eric would make an excellent Felix Leiter.He is about Bond's age,same build and height,intelligent and enough timing to carry off repartee........basically a Harvard/Yale man to Bond Fettes upper middle class.........I can see Eric playing off Jackman or Owen..........
