For author John Cork the hardest book to follow on from must have been James Bond: The Legacy. And with Maryam d

Thanks for the review, Blue Eyes. I can't wait to get my hands on a copy of this.

Will it ever be stocked internationally? Namely, here in Oz?

I know Legacy took quite a while to appear here.

It won't be stocked in Oz. I've confirmed that with the publisher. You'll have to order it in I'm afraid - but you can do that at your local bookstore.

Okie-dokie. Thanks.

I had them order in The Legacy for me, anyway.

Never got back to them saying I didn't need that copy of The Man With The Red Tattoo that they ordered in for me after all, though. :)

Bond Girls Are Forever is definitely an enjoyable book. My sole complaint is that not every important female form the series is featured. How can the authors mention Patricia Fearing from Thunderball and not give a picture of Molly Peters? Or Helga Brandt? Or Paris Carver? There are others who are MIA, and that should not be.

I've got to get this book, the book stores near me always take a little while to get new releases. It's the number one Bond book on my list to get right now. Hopefully soon. I like John Cork's work on the DVD's and 'Legacy'.

Out of curiousity, does the book make any reference to either the Jinx spin-off or the Wai-Lin one?

I went to three book stores in my area last week and didn't see any copies of this yet. Yet they have plenty of copies of The Legacy, The James Bond Encyclopedia and posters book.

This may be a Bond fans' urban myth, but I've read that Cork was employed by Eon as a consultant on the last few films, and that his duties involved checking during the shooting of love scenes that all Bond's injuries suffered in all the books and films were accounted for, with all the scar tissue he was supposed to have on his body present and correct.

Oh, I don't know about that. Cork and I have gone mano-a-mano several times and, trust me, that man knows his Bond! Remember, he was a hardcore fan before he ever hooked up with Eon.

Just saw the book in stores for the first time today! I like it, very nice and the oversize is always welcome. Didn't buy it, put it on my Christmas list, so the wait will be not too long, however I sometimes cannot stand waiting. :)

When it comes to Bond, if you don't own it, buy it!

It doesn't take too much arm twisting for me.....although my collection is not as comprehensive as zencats, I have picked up every book I can find on 007 from the last 25 years.
