Owen simply doesn't remind me of Bond. He's just too low key to play him.

), you'd have dismissed Moore and Dalton as potential Bonds in much the same way as you dismiss Owen.
Fair enough. It's your opinion. But I think the public at large may be rather less rigid in its criteria for a Bond actor. If Owen were cast as 007, I'm sure he'd find an audience (I know a couple of people who think, based on what they don't appreciate is tabloid hype, that he
is the next Bond - when I asked them if they'd prefer Jackman, their replies were along the lines of "He can't be Bond, he's an Aussie" [their view, not mine]).
At the very least, Owen is a better and more realistic candidate than 99.9% of the names often bandied about (Ralph Fiennes, Colin Farrell, Mel Gibson, Ewan McGregor, Robbie Williams, etc. etc.).
