Although it's not Bond, I think i'll check it out and perhaps buy it. It seems interesting.

When I first saw this story on the front page my heart skipped a beat for I thought it was a new Bond novel, but then I soon realized that that was unlikely. :) Oh well, it sounds really interesting. I think I will give it a try.

Sweeeeeeet!
Sounds great. I am very happy for Raymond, and I am so there the day it hits the stores. Finally, some good news.

you know, I was hoping that he was spending time updating his Bedside Companion to release as his first book after The Man With The Red Tattoo.

But it's good to see that he's still writing novels, even if they're not Bond.

I'd like to see an updated Bedside Companion, but I don't think he'll do it any time soon, especially as he'd have to crit his own work. That is, unless he went with a new format. Perhaps he could get someone to do the review part, or culminate other reviews to show how it was received.

He probably could add his novels to the Bedside Companion and discuss the characters, plot, and themes of the book, without critiquing them. There just would be some obvious inconsistences in the tables and other areas of the book.

Yeah an updated Bedside Companion would be grand. Perhaps if we bug him enough...

Does anybody know if or when Face Blind will be out in the UK? I can't seem to find it on Amazon, and my local WH Smith's can't find it on their listings either.

Unless they've gone Face Blind about it ...

Yeah, the article does say December for the UK, but I wondered if it had changed - Amazon are usually months ahead with pre-ordering things, and I was surprised that WH Smiths didn't know anything about it.

Anybody know if its been delayed or anything? :)

I have my copy (signed by Raymond). Cool that it says on the cover "The author of The Man With the Red Tattoo and Zero Minus Ten." Looking forward to reading it. :)
