EXT. COURTYARD - LATER THAT DAY
Bond enters the courtyard. There was no one in sight. It was located to the rear of the building, overlooking the Rhine. It was made mostly out of stone. He takes out his walther and begins to cautiously walk around the courtyard.
The sound of a telephone ringing can be heard. Bond spins around and sees an old fashioned red telephone booth by a large rock nearby. He carefully approaches it. It's empty.
He puts away his walther and enters the booth. He picks up the phone.
BOND
(into phone)
Hello?
Bond becomes startled when the telephone booth begins to descend into the ground. It begins to travel down a shaft at lightning speed. After a couple of seconds, it begins to slow down.
It comes to a complete stop and opens. Once again Bond sees what is outside the booth and he becomes relaxed. Bond exits the booth, the camera swings around him to reveal that he is in a underground lab.
Bond approaches Q, who is waiting for him.
BOND
These prank phone calls are getting
out of hand, Q.
Q sarcastically laughs at Bond quip.
Q
You always where the comedian, 007.
Q begins to walk through the room and he motions for Bond to follow him.
Q
Too bad your never had any good
material.
BOND
That's why I'm here, Q.
SERIES OF SHOTS:
a) A technician throws a baseball at a dummy catcher, which explodes on impact.
A female technician is blowdrying her hair in a mirror. Suddenly, she turns toward a dummy and aims. The blowdrier (really a sub-machine gun), fires hundreds of rounds into the dummy.Q leads Bond into a secluded, soundproof room.
INT. SOUNDPROOF ROOM - SAME
Inside the room, there is a dummy dressed in a tuxedo.
Q
The following is from our new
wardrobe line.
Q removes a button from the dummy's suit.
Q
Seemingly ordinary coat button.
But when pressure is applied to
button's center, it becomes a sonic
irritator, disorientating anyone
within a small space. There's a
three second delay so that you can
get out of it's range. It comes
standard with all jackets and shirts
that we've added to your wardrobe.
Q removes the dummy's shoes.
Q
Harmless looking leather shoe. But
when you pull the tag in the back...
(Q pulls the tag, causing eight
deadly spikes to stick out of the
bottom.)
Also, the tip of the shoe is made
of metal.
BOND
Dressed to kill.
Q
Indeed.
Q walks over to a table next to the dummy. He picks up a box of contact lenses.
BOND
Dr.Warmflash says I have 20/20
vision.
Q
Your vision will be better than that
with these on. You see, by putting
these on, you can activate different
vision modes such as nightvision and
spectrevision.
(he picks up a watch)
You can activate the different modes
by pressing this button ...
(indicating button)
...on your watch. It also comes with
the standard laser.
BOND
Can it tell the time?
Q's look of pride turns into a look of annoyance.
INT. LAB - MOMENTS LATER
Bond and Q are once again walking through the lab.
BOND
Now, where's this new car you were
telling me about.
Q
This way.
CUT AWAY TO: A technician rides a scooter through the lab. He engages the scooter's Q thruster which causes him to crash into a table, launching him face first into the wall.
INT. Q-BRANCH GARAGE - SAME
Bond and Q enter the garage which is filled with dozens of new cars. They approach a beautiful new metallic blue Jaguar XK8. Bond is in awe of the car.
BOND
She's a beauty, Q.
Q
Don't let her looks fool you. She
comes with the standard rockets and
machine guns, but a few new tricks
as well. All features can be voice
activated. The car only recongizes
our two voices, no one else. I would step back if I was you.
Bond and Q both move away from the car.
Q
(into keyring)
Engage flamethrowers.
As soon as Q finishes those two words, flames shoot out of each side of the car, with a range of about 10 feet.
Q hands Bond the keyring.
Q
Tell it to do something.
Bond hesitates and smirks. He has something else in mind.
BOND
Get down-
Q
Not that you idiot!
BOND
My mistake.
(Q shakes his head. Bond
talks into the keyring)
Machine guns.
A row of machine guns appear in the front of the car.
Q
Good.
Q
Built into the front of the car
is an advanced laser scanner. It's a new feature that we call "laser
driving". The lasers can detect
various turns and obstacles and
evade them, without the driver in
the car.
BOND
Quite impressive, Q.
Q
The cars outer shell, can
be magnetized by pressing the
"magnetic plating" button on your
key ring, or saying the word...
(whispering)
magnetize.
Bond picks up the keyring.
BOND
(into keyring)
Magnetize.
Q eyes grow wide. He is draged towards the car by his watch. The other cars in the garage begin to screech towards the XK8. Bond's walther flies out of his holster and flies toward the car.
Q
Shut it off! Shut it off!
BOND
(into keyring)
De-magnetize.
Q, has his arm over his head, scared. He turns around to see Bond with a big grin on his face.
Q
(angry)

Bond smiles at Q, who breaths a sigh of relief that he didn't get hurt.
