It was DAF!

(No need to panic, it's just another 'What if?')

I recently saw a delicious poster by freemo about George Lazenby being in DAF. And I realized I had made a poster a couple of Months ago about Roger being in DAF.

I pulled it up and here it is.

Okay, I'm missing something here. Is this little red 'X' that keeps getting posted the Red Tattoo from Benson's new book?

It won't show due to the patheticness of Geocities. It's to stop people 'stealing' from them or something. Never fear, they're insane!!

To view it go to

http://www.geocities...s/roger_dia.jpg?

See the little ? that should make it work. I'll try and pst it as an image:

May not work though.

freemo (26 Oct, 2001 02:55 a.m.):

Cool poster Trevelyn, though a captial M for Moore would be nice (being a bit picky there), the writings good and the head fits a bit better than mine did.

Ah yes, Thanks freemo, just spotted that :-)

BTW, can some perhaps post the pic? Whenever I do it something screws up.

It seems that Fate does not want us to see this picture.

Geocities says that the page is not available ???

As much as I like that red x, I'd rather see the picture, heres what Trevelyn was tryign to show...

DAF is the type of movie that would of suited Moore, but I wonder that if he did it, he may have 'Lazenbyed' and not end up doing a second one.

I wanna get a scanner, then I could put my own head there, "Freemo in Diamonds Are Forever", that would be something. :)

Actually, it's a little known fact that DAF's original title was "The Black Cross In The Little White Box". :)

At the time of his first one -- LALD, Connery was still the only really accepted 007 and he ended up making a second one.
But then again LALD is a lot better than DAF.

When I saw the title of this post, I thought someone was jokingly referring to "The Fiction Makers" where Roger, as the Saint, goes up against an organization called SWORD, that is a take-off on SPECTRE. Then I realized that it was the usual "let's put down Roger's Bond" thread.
Only Roger can get slammed for a movie he wasn't even in.

roger would have been so good in daf, but alas we will never know, i know he would not have been lazy in that movie as connery was, and he would not have been fat either, so those are two good things

Didn't he say something to that effect about NSNA?
